Come explore Hueston Woods State Park by visiting with the resident naturalist to learn about the wildlife and conservation work happening at the nature center. Then depart from the Marina to canoe around Acton Lake. After completing the float, go fossil hunting. This area is rich in fossils from the Ordovician Period. See what evidence of the past you can unearth! (This is not an introductory canoe trip. There will be no instruction prior to getting on the lake.)
