Workshop Wednesday: Innovation in Urban Runoff Management

Summer Supervisor School Workshop Highlight: Urban stormwater management is shifting towards “green infrastructure” practices such as permeable pavement and bioretention that provides multiple benefits over traditional approaches, including runoff volume and peak flow reduction, improved water quality, improved safety and fewer geese.  This presentation will highlight how this infrastructure is being incorporated into stormwater design and detail the benefits.  Presenter: Jay Dorsey, Division of Soil and Water Resources
