Farm Science Review

The Ohio State University’s Annual Farm Science Review will be conducted at the 2,100-acre Molly Caren Agricultural Center, located two miles north of London on U.S. Route 40.  The review will take place Tuesday, September 22 through Thursday, September 24th.  Hours of the show are Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to 5pm and Thursday 8am to 4pm.

During the review, the OFSWCD, SWCDs and our partners will highlight conservation programs and practices centered on water quality and soil health.  This year’s theme is “Undisputed Conservation:  Soil Health and Water Quality Champions.”

The Lawrence G. Vance Federation Park will showcase pollinator efforts through gardens and visual displays, a cover crop demonstration area, a seasonal high tunnel, both drainage and water control structures, grazing features, a soil tunnel and the new Warren SWCD “Tom Spellmire Water Conservation Education Exhibit.”   Additionally, workshops will be conducted on “Conservation Drainage Ditch Designs” and “Innovations in Grazing Management.”  These workshops are highlighted in the FSR program.

On Thursday, we are pleased to be a part of the “Conservation Farm Family Awards” that will highlight 5 special family producers from all throughout Ohio who have contributed greatly to conservation efforts!
