New App Available!
Smartphone Technology is now helping the water quality effort! A free mobile app is now available to help farmers comply with Senate Bill 1 and Senate Bill 150. The Ohio Nutrient Management Record Keeper (ONMRK) features drop-down menus that make it easy for farmers to record their fertilizer or manure application as well as the current weather conditions and forecast for the next 24 hours. The app was developed by Knox County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Knox County Farm Bureau as part of OFBF’s Water Quality Initiative Program. The app can be downloaded online and through Google Play and the App Store. To learn more about this, contact the Knox SWCD at 740-393-6724 or the OFSWCD office at 614-784-1900.
