Summer Supervisor School 2016 Review!
Thank you Area 5, ODA, NRCS and each individual who assisted in this year’s event through planning, sponsoring, being a presenter, a tour chaperone, and/or just being a participant at this event! Summer Supervisor School was a tremendous success and it took each and every one of you to make it such!
A special thank you to our auxiliary for a great celebration of life, auction and for awarding four scholarships!
On Monday night, we enjoyed a visit to downtown Columbus to watch a Clipper’s baseball game in their awesome facility. And the ten-cent hot dogs weren’t bad either!
Also, a special thank you to Franklin, Delaware, and Fairfield SWCD’s for all the additional planning as a result of Tuesday’s tours. We heard such fantastic comments about all three tours and wish everyone had the ability to do each of the three offerings! As you were able to see firsthand, we truly are Conservation o’Plenty!
And to our workshop presenters — thanks for great sessions! These were very well supported and the networking throughout the event was great! We also want to thank Buckeye Soil Solutions for bringing down your equipment and delivering another fantastic workshop!
So thanks again for a memorable event and we hope you all will continue the networking and exploring all the different things Ohio’s SWCDs are doing, as well as the great things many of our partners are doing too! Soil, Water and Conservation efforts truly impact everything we do. We are so proud and blessed!
